Current Bible Study Opportunities

Our Sunday Bible study
Sunday mornings at 9:00
At Concordia everyone joins together to read and discuss a book of the Bible. Each week we cover one chapter. We also provide families with optional "homework" that includes memory work, discussion topics, and devotional opportunities. Participants who learn memory verses get tickets to redeem in our resource center and pins that celebrate their accomplishments.

Men's Bible study
Every Wednesday at 11:00am.
Come for a great discussion and then join the men for lunch afterwards at one of the restaurants in or around our neighborhood.

Women's Bible study
Every Thursday 12:30pm.
¬†The current study is a class led by Pastor Wiist that he has put together over the last few years called, ‚ÄúTalking Together.‚ÄĚ After this brief study, the ladies will be invited to pick from a variety of CPH studies. Don‚Äôt miss these first few classes so that you get input on what the study might be! Guests are welcome.

Family Time
A family event hosted by Concordia on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm (except during the seasons of Advent and Lent). While guests and members eat a snack the Pastor will lead a brief devotion and discussion based on familiar Bible stories. A break-out time is also provided where families can enjoy hands-on activites. Parents and children will love our new, activity stations.

Are offered to address "contemporary" (and often controversial issues). Look for upcoming seminars to be announced soon.

INTERACTION Teams
Volunteers meet with the residents of Jacob's Village to lead devotions and pray with the residents there. If you would like to share in this experience, we would be happy to connect you with a team leader.

Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.
If you look at the cornerstones of many Lutheran Churches established before the first half of the 20th Century, they often have the abbreviation ‚ÄúUAC‚ÄĚ written on them. This stands for the Unaltered Augsburg Confession. This cornerstone of our confession of faith has never been read by many of our members. This class provides you the opportunity to read and discuss this important Lutheran document. We will be coordinating our study with a KFUO radio program called, ‚ÄúConcord Matters' ' which can be listened to live on on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Host, Rev. Sean Smith¬†
